Marta McDowell,famous Author and Lecturer will be at Fosterfields Visitor Center October 9, 2016

The Friends of Fosterfields and Cooper MIl, in conjunction with the Hoskins Fund are proud to present Marta McDowell. Marta lives, writes and gardens in Chatham. Her garden is included in the Smithsonian's Archives of American Gardens. Marta teaches landscape history and horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden.

On Sunday October 9, Marta's topic will be a presentation about her new book, “All The Presidents’ Gardens”. Her other works include, “Emily Dickinson’s Garden” and “Beatrix Potter’s Gardening Life”, which won the Gold Award from the Garden Writers Association .
